Additionally, he completed sub-specialty training in Infectious Diseases at UWI, which included rotations at Palmetto Health Richland in South Carolina and Toronto General Hospital in Toronto, Canada. Dr. Bonimy’s list of services cover the prevention and management of chronic and complex medical issues including high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, heart disease and a full spectrum of infectious diseases, including:
Abdominal infections
Bone and joint infections
Liver infections such as viral hepatitis
Pneumonia or urinary tract infections

Dr. Bonimy’s is a consultant for Infectious Diseases at The Princess Margaret Hospital and Doctors Hospital and also a member of The Medical Association of The Bahamas, The Infectious Diseases Society of America and The Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America.
Dr. Bonimy is a proud graduate of St. John’s College in Nassau, The Bahamas and Acadia University in Nova Scotia, Canada where he double majored in Biology and Chemistry. He continued his tertiary education in The Bahamas and Jamaica at The University of the West Indies (UWI), receiving his medical degree and specialty training in Internal Medicine.
